Finding the Right Shoes (Arch, Gait, etc…)

So I have been thinking about those new Nike LunarGlide+ shoes and decided to do a little research.  The new Nike Running website has a really cool and helpful shoe finder:

The shoes it finds for you are one thing, but the questions asked during the process are more important.  It is key to know to things about your stride: arch type and gait type.

The Nike shoe finder has good videos to demonstrate how to determine each.  Also for arch type there is a good article online at Runners World:

I never actually checked my arch type.  I just figured… I’m a normal guy, I probably have a normal arch Wink Turns out I was right:

So anyway… what was the number one shoe Nike recommended for me?  Well, don’t be surprised to see me in reviewing a pair of LunarGlides sooner than later!
